Huyuyu Dam Scooping, Expansion & Refurbishment Project

Scope of Work
Mhizha Energy & Construction was contracted by Greater Valley Fresh Foods (Pvt) Ltd to rehabilitate and expand the existing Huyuyu Dam in Mtoko. The project involved the removal of accumulated sediment, deepening and lengthening of the dam structure, and strengthening of the dam wall to restore full water-holding capacity and ensure long-term structural integrity. This project demonstrates Mhizha’s technical capability in hydraulic and civil engineering works, using modern equipment and skilled personnel to deliver durable and environmentally responsible water infrastructure solutions across Zimbabwe.
